• CBAA responds to the proposed luxury tax on personal aircraft in the federal budget
  • Order In Council Renewal: Operators should be aware that we expect a straight renewal of the Order in Council due to expire April 21 2021. The new expiration is proposed for May 2021. In the meantime, Transport Canada has released a FAQ on COVID 19 Requirements dated April 19th Your input matters! The CBAA is a member of the Training & Checking Modernization Project, which is proposing initiatives to improve the effectiveness of training and pilot proficiency checks (PPCs). The CBAA is soliciting comments on these initiatives and would like to know how many operators would take advantage of them and, if not, why not.  Please fill out this survey by COB 28 April 2021.
  • CBAA advocating for business aviation:CBAA has joined the influential government/industry COVID Recovery Working Group (CRW) to help plan the aviation sector’s recovery. Meetings will take place on a weekly basis.
