Historic News: Bombardier Global 7500 sets new world standard with 8,152-nm non-stop flight!
Some of the highlights:
- The Global 7500 departed Singapore-Changi Airport @ 7:12 a.m. local time and flew non-stop to Tucson International Airport in Arizona, USA, where it landed at 8:19 a.m. local time.
- This historic flight establishes a world record for achieving the highest speed over the longest distance for a business jet, pending sanctioning by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA).
- The Global 7500 landed with 4,300 lb of fuel – well above NBAA normal fuel reserve standards. In fact, this remaining fuel is the equivalent of approximately 90 minutes of additional flight time.
