Explore Historic Aircraft at CBAA 2018
Attention airplane and history buffs! CBAA is honoured that several iconic military aircraft will participate in our convention static display, June 14, at the Chartright FBO at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. Courtesy of Skies Magazine in partnership with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, attendees can tour the legendary Avro Lancaster, one of only two airworthy examples in the world. Step into history and have your photo taken with this famous Second World War bomber, dedicated to the memory of Canadian hero and Victoria Cross recipient, Pilot Officer Andrew Mynarski. And if you’ve always dreamed of flying in the Lancaster, here’s your chance! Following the show, the Museum has graciously offered to provide one 50-minute Lancaster flight for four passengers from Waterloo airport! Visit warplane.com or contact Laura at 905-679-4183 ext. 236 or firstname.lastname@example.org for pricing and details. And it doesn’t end there. Courtesy of Fliteline Services and the Waterloo Warbirds, our static will also feature the historic T33 Silver Star, DH-115 Vampire and the MIG 15!
