The CBAA board has made the difficult decision to cancel the annual convention and exhibit, CBAA 2020, which was to be held in Toronto, June 16 – 18. Given the uncertainty around when we can expect a recovery, we have decided to delay the event for a full year, and plan to reconvene in Toronto at Skyservice, June 15 – 17, 2021 – CBAA’s 60th anniversary.

A full refund or credit is available to delegates, sponsors or exhibitors who have already paid their fees.

We are indebted to the support of our 2020 convention committees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and host, Skyservice and thank them all for their commitment to the CBAA and to our industry. We will continue to work with them as our partners and allies as we move forward.

We are proud to be part of an incredibly resilient aviation sector, and we are still very much committed to bringing the business aviation community together. As required by law, we will be holding our AGM on June 17, via a virtual platform. And we are also looking at other ways to potentially create a hybrid online “mini convention” with presentations and speakers that will keep our industry informed and engaged.

Now, more than ever, we must stay united. CBAA’s first priority is to support the physical and economic health of our business aviation operators and employees. We have been working with officials at Finance and Transport Canada to ensure that our members will benefit from any aviation sector relief packages. We have also been sharing information with our members and industry, so they have access to the latest and best knowledge on what is expected of them to keep their business operational and their staff and passengers healthy and safe.

We will share more information about this and our other activities on social media, and through online and app-based platforms. If you are not yet part of our conversations, there are many ways to join in! Please contact us at to find out how.

I look forward to welcoming all of you to our exciting 60th anniversary event, CBAA 2021, June 15 – 17, 2021.
